107-366 butterfly
I went outside early in the morning to get a pic of my blooming dogwood for my picture of the day. I was astounded to see about a dozen butterflies all over my flowering shrubs. I had no idea they had been doing that!
I guess it pays to get out a bit earlier, LOL!
106-366 hyacinth
Another attempt at playing with HDR in a slightly more realistic way than before. Just looks a little to unrealistically sharp to me.

59-366 Pink Tulip
In another day or two this will droop and drop it's petals, so I'll get the most out of it with my macro lens :).

Playing with macro lens and extension rings
I manage to take a pic everyday for this 365+1, but it seems to take me awhile to get them off my camera.

46-366 a bit of bloom in February
I love buying an amaryllis bulb every year just after Christmas. They are inexpensive (this one was $3.00 and included the soil and pot) and provide a little cheerful color, as well as a photo opportunity, when they bloom in a cold wintery month.
What more can you ask of 3 bucks:)

"A Little Bit of Spring"
For all you snow weary people, of which I am one, a taste of what's to come...
eventually.
I think.

Day 331-365 "Yellow Flowers"
Someone gifted us with a huge floral display for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was lovely, but not quite my thing, so I separated out the flowers into individual groups. So for the next few days, it's flower photography in November ;-)!
I'm going to try and treat each one differently, depending on how I'm feeling them at the moment. This one seemed to need some texture to go with the delicate flowers.
