Very rainy today. Thought I would go out and get some shots in keeping with our weather theme at DPS. I failed miserably, possibly because I was cold, wet and miserable. Trying to keep my camera dry and steady and my shoes out of mud, I had what I thought were good ideas, but inside they were either slightly OOF or uninteresting. Since I wasn't ready to go out again, I took uninteresting over OOF. This was supposed to show drops hitting the water, but I didn't catch any despite the downpour. Aha! Wrong settings :-(.
Stupid rain.

My mother used to grow this tall delicate perennial in her garden. She gave me some of the tiny seeds to sprinkle in my garden. She didn't know what it was called, but I'd really like to know. Does anyone recognize it?

It's a former one room schoolhouse - used until 1952 - that is now a museum of sorts, set up so people can see what it was once like.

Day 218-365 "Garden Clock"
Playing with textures again. That's what happens when it's cloudy and rainy outdoors and you hurt your foot.
Day 217-365 "Sun-Warmed Brick"
A bit cloudy today, so I had to get my own sun out ;-).
I got this clay piece while visiting Greece, definitely a sun-warmed country.
Day 216-365 "Basketweave Floor"
I find little bits of architectural items on old buildings interesting. These aren't things generally lauded by preservationists and they often get torn apart in remodels. This is the porch floor of an old house that was turned into a doctor's office. I couldn't get a good shot because of the tools around (remodel in progress!), but the floor remains preserved.

This shot turned out a tad grainy and blurry, so I thought I'd just emphasize all it's bad parts and go with what it is.
Does that make sense?
It's part of the problem that goes with a 365 when you can't see your pictures until days later.
